Unit-11 LIKES AND DISLIKE
11.1 Degree of enjoyment- After listening the presentation, students will fill the given box.
11.2 Responding to suggestions-
11.2.1 How to make suggestions, request:
·         Would you like +to+ V1 (root form of verb)     e.g.  Would you like to have a cup of tea?
·         Let’s + V1 (root form of verb)                          e.g.  Let’s go for swimming.
·         Could you please + V1 (root form of verb)        e.g.  Could you please turn on the radio?
·         Why don’t we/you + V1 (root form of verb)      e.g.  Why don’t you ask the way to Kapan?
·         Shall we + V1 (root form of verb)                        e.g. Shall we go for picnic?
11.2.2 Responding to suggestion, request:
·         To deny:-No thanks- (negative statement)        e.g. No thanks- I don’t like tea.
 No thanks- I can’t stand (v4) listening to the music.
·         To accept :-         i) That’s a good idea-(positive statement)     e.g. That’s good idea-I                                   enjoy swimming.
                                ii) I don’t mind + (v4) asking for the way.
11.3 After listening the presentation, students will do the practice.
11.4 Your own likes and dislikes
·         Asking friends about their likes or dislikes using:
Ø  How do you feel…………         e.g. How do you when it’s too hot?
Ø  Do you + V1………                      e.g. Do you like playing tennis?
Ø  What do you like………….       e.g. What do you like in winter?
